  • What are my payment options?
    US customers may pay via credit card, purchase order, PayPal, wire transfer or check. International customers are required to prepay for orders and may pay via credit card, wire transfer or PayPal. We are happy to create an estimate or pro forma invoice for you. Please email store@wceps.org or call 1-877-272-5593.
  • My credit card was declined through the store. Can WCEPS manually charge my card for the order, or can I change my payment method?
    Yes, you can fax your credit card information to 1-608-441-2769 and we can manually charge your card for the order. You can also change your payment method either by submitting another order (since the first did not go through), or calling us at 608-441-2774 and we can place a new order for you. The name and address you enter in the billing section of the checkout process must match the name and address on your credit card. If it does not match your credit card will be declined.
  • I placed my order using a purchase order and would like to pay for the invoice using a credit card. Is this possible?
    Yes, you can pay for the purchase order using a credit card. WCEPS will need to manually charge your credit card, so you can fax your credit card information, referencing your order number, to 1-608-441-2769. You may also call 1-608-441-2774 or toll free at 1-877-272-5593. Please do not email your credit card information.
  • Do the grades listed on the MODEL kits match up to grade levels in the US?
    Yes, the grade levels do match the grade levels in the US, and are formulated with topics appropriate to those grade levels.
  • I'm not sure if MODEL is right for my school. Who do I talk to if I have questions regarding the content of WIDA materials?
    Please direct questions regarding the content of the WIDA products to the WIDA Client Services Center at 1-866-276-7735 or help@wida.us. When you are ready, place your order directly online or send your purchase order to store@wceps.org.
  • Do you have more information about the WIDA MODEL Online Assessments?
    Yes, please review our MODEL Frequently Asked Questions document to learn more about the online version of WIDA MODEL.
  • Is WCEPS the same company as WIDA?

    No, WCEPS is a separate entity from WIDA. WCEPS is the sole source provider of WIDA MODEL materials, Standards, Can Do Descriptors and anything else listed on the WIDA Store website.

    WIDA is housed within the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research. WCEPS is a separate non-profit organization whose excess revenue goes back into the university to fund more research.

  • I need to purchase the ACCESS for ELLs test. Does WCEPS sell this test?
    No, this is a product that is not sold in the WIDA Store. For more information on ordering the ACCESS for ELLs test please contact Data Recognition Corp (DRC) by calling 855-787-9615 or emailing WIDA@datarecognitioncorp.com.
  • I want to pay for my district's ASSETS materials and consortium membership. Where do I send my check?
    Checks for ASSETS and US WIDA Consortium membership need to go to WIDA/WCER or MetriTech. WCEPS does not take care of costs associated with ASSETS, but only purchases through the online WIDA Store. You may contact WIDA at 1-866-276-7735 or help@wida.us.
  • I have questions about placing an order and/or shipping. Who do I contact?

  • How do I know if I am a WIDA member?

    Members are comprised of State Departments of Education in consortium member states. Therefore publicly funded schools and districts are considered members within those states. If a customer is from a private school, their membership consideration is dependent on their state's policy. Each state has a policy on whether or not they allow private schools to participate in state secure assessment programs (e.g the ACCESS for ELLs test). Private schools need to get permission from the State DOE to be considered a member.

    International schools that are members of the WIDA International School Consortium have received a code specific to their organization to use at checkout for member pricing.

  • How do I receive member pricing in the WIDA Store?

    US customers: The system will determine whether you will receive member pricing based on the billing address you provide and your answers to the questions regarding ACCESS testing.

    International customers: If you are a member of the WIDA International School Consortium you will need to enter your WISC code so that member pricing is applied. If you are an international school but not a member of the International Consortium you may join to receive member pricing, along with many other benefits.

  • Can I buy WIDA materials as an individual or do I need to buy as part of a school/district/state?

    It depends on the products you plan to order.

    The WIDA Standards and Can Do materials are available for purchase by any individual, school or organization.

    The WIDA MODEL materials are only available for purchase by US school districts and international schools that are members of the WIDA International School Consortium. Individuals may not purchase the WIDA MODEL materials for their own use.

    The WIDA Screener is only available for purchase by US school districts.

  • I am a parent or tutor and would like to purchase WIDA MODEL materials to assist my student with their upcoming assessment. May I purchase these materials?
    No, the WIDA MODEL materials are only available for purchase by US school districts or by WIDA International School Consortium members. If you place an order and are not an employee of a school your order will be canceled.
  • My school is an international school and I would like to know how my school can receive member pricing.
    International schools may join the WIDA International School Consortium. One of the benefits of the consortium is that members receive member pricing when using their WISC code when ordering through the WIDA Store.
  • My school requires a quote or pro forma invoice prior to ordering. Who do I contact?

    Please email your request to store@wceps.org. Please include your school name, contact name, email address and the name and quantity of items you want to order.

    You may also call 877-272-5593 to make your request.

  • Can I use a purchase order and still order through the online store?
    Yes. When you reach the confirmation page in the checkout process, select Purchase Order as your payment method and submit your order. You will receive a copy of the order and we will receive a copy. We will not process your order until we receive your purchase order. You will have 30 days to submit a purchase order to WCEPS.
  • How do I submit my purchase order?

    You can submit your purchase order via email to store@wceps.org, fax to 1-608-441-2769, or mail to 510 Charmany Drive, Suite 269, Madison, WI 53719. Email is preferred and we are able to verify receipt of your PO.

    Please ensure the purchase order has the correct vendor information. All orders through the online store need to be paid to Wisconsin Center for Education Products and Services (WCEPS).

    If the vendor information is incorrect we will not be able to process your order. Once a correct purchase order is received we can process your order.

  • Can I make a purchase order/check out to WIDA/WCER for my purchase, or does it have to go to WCEPS?
    All purchase orders and checks for products sold in the WIDA Store need to be addressed to Wisconsin Center for Education Products and Services (WCEPS). If a purchase order or check is addressed to WIDA/WCER/MetriTech/UW/DRC, it will be either faxed or mailed back to the originator. WCEPS is a separate entity from the UW-Madison, WIDA/WCER, MetriTech and DRC, so purchase orders and checks made out to those organizations cannot be processed.
  • I faxed a purchase order but have not received my materials. Where are my materials?

    Please contact WCEPS at 1-877-272-5593 for an update. It is likely we did not receive your purchase order because the fax did not come through or you faxed it to another number. If your PO was addressed to WIDA/WCER/Metritech/UW/DRC it is likely that it was faxed to them so we would not have received it.

    If your PO has the wrong vendor name we are not able to process it and you will need to correct the information and resend to us. Emailing it to store@wceps.org is the best way to send it to us and we can confirm receipt.  

  • Can I cancel an order once it's placed?
    Yes. If you would like to cancel an order, please send an email to store@wceps.org or call 1-877-272-5593 or local 608-441-2774. If your order has already been shipped, there may be charges for restocking and shipping. If your order has not shipped, it will simply be canceled and no charges will be applied.
  • How do I enter a promo code?
    If you have a promo code to use, you will need to enter it on the "Confirm Your Order" page exactly how it appeared when you received it. The promo code is case-sensitive.
  • What are the discount code terms of use?

    Discount Code Terms:

    • All Discount Codes are valid through 11:59pm CST/CDT on the end date listed for the Code.
    • WCEPS reserves the rights to cancel or modify any Discount Code at any time without notice.
    • Customers are limited to using each Discount Code only once.
    • Discount codes may not be used in conjunction with any other special offer, promotion, voucher or coupon.
    • Discount codes are only applied to product totals and may not be applied to shipping or other costs.
    • Percentage-off Discount Codes may be redeemed for a maximum of $1000 off per customer.
    • Dollar-off Discount Codes must be completely used on one order. Orders that are less than the dollar-off discount total will be taken down to zero for the product total.
